Dr. Jaanus Suurväli
Jaanus is a Postdoctoral Fellow from Estonia, with interests ranging from conservation genomics to immunology and evolutionary biology. Having previously studied human disease, zebrafish domestication and eco-evolutionary pressures affecting large gene families, Jaanus is now working with Dr. Colin Garroway on the demographics and local adaptation of the invasive sea lamprey in North America.
